I know it's been awhile, but I haven't forgotten. (Well, I did and that's why I didn't write.) I also want to add something that I did to serve someone else. I'm trying to think outside myself for once.
So... I am grateful for...
1. Good friends like April
2. Having a job so I can buy myself things like new running shoes
3. New running shoes
4. Being able to work out
5. My body
6. Losing weight
7. Brooklyn's cuddles
8. Smoothies
9. the Atonement
10. Brooklyn's cute words
My service: yesterday I babysat for April and Kendall so they could go on a date. Today, though it sounds silly, I posted on facebook Callen's email address so he can (hopefully) get a lot of emails tomorrow at church.

Saturday Blues
I don't know why, but sometimes Saturday mornings I just feel sad. And today was one of those reasons. Nothing happened, no one upset me, I'm just a little down. So I think this might be something that could help me refocus my energy into happy thoughts...
1. I am grateful for grilled cheese sandwiches.
2. I am grateful for a clean house (even if it's just going to be for an hour).
3. I am grateful that I am able to withstand sweets (and my body has pretty much stopped craving them. It's all in my head, now)
4. I am thankful that I only have two more days of school till Mexico!
5. I am thankful that I have the weekends to spend with my family and get my house back in order.
6. I am thankful that I am physically able to work out and work out HARD.
7. I am thankful that I enjoy working out.
8. I am thankful that I am in such good shape.
9. I am thankful that this year is coming to a close and it's time to countdown to summer!
10. I am thankful that there is no snow outside.
I feel better already.

Gratitude
One thing I don't really like about myself is how negative I can be. I tend to find what's wrong with a situation before what's right. I am very judgmental of other people and critical of things they do. I often compare myself to them, how am I better, how would I do things differently, etc. So I have decided to start a gratitude journal to try to help me see things in a different light. I want to be able to be positive, and to find the positive around me and in other people.
So my goal is to write 10 things every day that I am grateful for. I highly doubt I will be able to do this every day, but I am going to try. My plan is to write every morning as I am having breakfast since that is the only time of the day I have to myself. But seeing as how it is already lunch time, today I am going to start at lunch.
1. I am grateful for my beautiful daughter and the smile she puts on my face.
2. I am grateful for the overall health of Brooklyn.
3. I am grateful that Brooklyn appears to be on the normal scale in terms of her development.
4. I am grateful for the influence of Aunt Patti in my life and how similar I am to her.
5. I am grateful that Callen is willing and able to stay at home with Brooklyn every day while I am at work.
6. I am grateful that I have a job.
7. I am grateful that I get along (mostly) with the people I work with.
8. I am grateful that the school year is coming to a close.
9. I am grateful that we are able to go on a vacation next week.
10. I am grateful that I was able to go to church today.
THere, that was easy enough. The tricky part is going to be finding new things every day to be grateful for that I haven't already used!
